I've been coaching track at a small HS in NY for a number of years
and I find practice organization to be my biggest challenge.
We are blessed with a large number of enthusiastic young athletes but
only one boys coach, one girls coach and one assistant coach.
We divide our efforts among the throws, the sprints, and the distance races. I coach the sprints and that includes 100-400 sprinters, hurdlers, and horizontal jumpers. My biggest challenge has always been finding
the time to give everyone the attention they need to be successful during the short time that the weather cooperates in this part of the world.
Can you give me any suggestions?
