Hello,
I had my 40 yard dash time down to 4.51 with about 3 weeks to go in my program. Then for about 4 months I could not workout. My forty slowed to around 4.85. Recently I started my program again and am down to a 4.61 3 weeks into my program. But I am having a problem and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help me solve it.
I run very good 10 yard dash at 1.49 and 1.50, I also run a good 20 at 2.6 and faster. My problem comes at between 10 and 17 yards. After my start I can't seem to keep my accelaration going, it is as if I am hitting a wall.
Does anyone have suggestions, drills, or exercises that can help me in my post 10-15 yard accelaration phase.
