loosing fat for 400m
What is a good weight for a female 400m runner? I am 5 ft 6 inches and weigh 9st 2lb, and have 20-21% body fat. I believe that I need to reduce my body fat in order to improve my PB of 59 secs, but what is the ideal percentage, and what is the best way of reducing my body fat

What is the best way of reducing body fat?
First of all, many athletes actually invest a lot of time doing cardio. The problem is that many don't lift weight often enough, or when they do, it's not intense enough to generate significant results. Secondly, in reducing body fat athletes who also lifts weights strenuously, the excess body fat is typically caused by poor eating habits, and thus, diet is the culprit.
Research clearly proves that sessions of intense weight training only - alternating with day of rigorous workouts - produce the best results for reducing body fat.
